County Manager, Vacant

The County Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the County, and for implementing policies set by the Board of County Commissioners, recommending improved management practices,directing financial and accounting operations, reviewing and preparing the annual budget, and directing the County’s operating departments.  The County Manager and staff prepare current and long-range operational plans, and review all existing and future planning systems, personnel, equipment, and facility requirements.  The County Manager also acts as a liaison between the Board of County Commissioners and county departments, elected officials, governmental entities, and the business community.
