Resident Survey

A county-wide survey was conducted between December 2020 and January 2021. The National Citizen Survey (NCS) was developed by National Research Center scientists and is considered a statistically valid survey that captures residents' opinions in three primary categories:

  • Community character
  • Governance
  • Participation

The survey was mailed randomly to 2,700 households and approximately 660 surveys were completed, resulting in a 25% response rate. The survey revealed that 85% of respondents feel their quality of life in Elbert County is excellent, or good. View the full presentation (PDF)
