The Commissioners will attend a work study session regarding EC East Planned Unit Development Concept Brief. The development encompasses approximately 1,270-acres and will support a Planned Unit Development (PUD) for a conservation community with a mix of up to 3,000 residential units, commercial/industrial use along Kiowa-Bennett, and at least 50% open space. Water and sanitation districts will be formed, as well as at least one metropolitan district to finance and perform improvements on the site. Full buildout of the site to occur over the next twenty-plus (20+) years, however, homes could be seen as early as the third year. This meeting is open to the public. No decisions will be made, no public comment.
